• Hidden Valley Airpark (5TX0) is a private airport with a 2600 x 35 asphalt runway and 500-foot sod overrun on the south. The calm wind favored runway is 34 for landing and 16 for take-off due to the slope to the south. Denton Municipal (KDTO) is 8 nm to the west if you prefer to file an IFR flight plan. Detailed information about flying to Hidden Valley Airpark is available in the HVAA Pilots Information Guide.
• The airport runway is a private Texas airport and is protected by Texas aviation laws.
• 100LL is available on the property from a limited liability corporation managed by the Hidden Valley Airpark Association.
Are there separate taxiways?
• The only separate taxiways are the three entrances to the runway. Most of the roads in the community serve a dual purpose as taxiways and roads with aircraft having the right of way. The roads/taxiways are a mix of asphalt and concrete.
• 5TX0 does not have an instrument approach, but there is an instrument approach to nearby Denton (KDTO) which is 7 nm to the west.
